MaaKamakhya or Kameswari is the renowned Goddess of Desire whose famous shrine is located in the heart of Nilachala Hill situated in the western part of Guwahati, it is one of the most sacred and oldest of the 51 ShatiPithas of Hindu religion. The shrine remain closed during AmbubachiMela, locally known as “Ameti” or “Amoti” is the biggest religious congregation, It is observed during the monsoon season in the month of ‘Ashara’ as per Assamese/ Bengali calendar beginning with the seventh day which falls around 21st or 22nd of June of Gregorian Calendar.

Drive to Kaziranga, approx. 4 hours drive.

Kaziranga: One of the most sought after wildlife holiday destinations in India, Kaziranga National park's 430 square kilometer area sprinkled with elephant-grass meadows, swampy lagoons, and dense forests is home to more than 2200 Indian one-horned rhinoceros, approximately 2/3rd of their total world population. Undoubtedly, the park is known for its good population of animals but more than that it’s the wildlife conservation initiatives that take place in the park are more popular. With its amazing wildlife conservation activities, the park has successfully managed to grow the population of Greater one-horned rhinoceros, an endangered species

Upon arrival in Kaziranga, check in to the hotel.

Note: Kindly note, Shared Elephant ride and Shared Jeep safari are controlled and managed by Department of Forest Govt. of Assam. Therefore, no has any control on booking of seats on Shared Elephant and Shared Jeep while going for safari.

Later afternoon, proceed to NationalPark on a shared Jeep Safari.

Drive to Shillong, approx. 6hours’ drive.

Shillong: The romantic city of Shillong is one of the important tourist destinations in the northeast. The Romantic city, Shillongis often referred to as the "Scotland of the East" due to its striking similarity with the Scottish highlands.Shillonghas its own charm, different from other hill stations, and presents a natural scenic beauty with waterfalls, brooks, pine grooves and gardens. The place, the people, the flora and fauna and the climate all combine to make Shillong an ideal resort throughout the year. Local tribes like the Khasi, Jaintia and Garo tribes add color to this hilly city.

Evening at leisure for your own independent activities, guest may opt for boat ride at Wards Lake on as an optional tour.

Morning proceed for day excursion of Cherapunjee (approx., 2 hours’ drive on way)

Cherrapunji currently the historical name Sohra is more commonly used; alternative spellings are Cherrapunjee and Charrapunji), is a subdivisional town in the East Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of Meghalaya. It is credited as being the wettest place on Earth. However, nearby Mawsynram currently holds that record. Though, it still holds the world record for the most rainfall in a calendar month and in a year. It received 9,300 mm (366 in) in July 1861 and 26,461 mm (1,041.75 in) between 1 August 1860 and 31 July 1861.

The Tour covers the following places of tourist interest:Mawkdok Valley, Ramkrishna Mission, Nohkalikai Falls. Mawsmai Caves, Eco Park, Nohsngithiang Falls, Thangkharang Park, Motrop (Giant conical rock).
